Whether you have been a member of Alton Baptist Church for longer than a mathematician can count or you’ve never stepped through our doors, you are welcome to participate in the many activities and ministries that Alton Baptist has to offer through its Common MENistries program! And, before anyone calls the church to inquire about the obvious misspelling of “ministries”, let me assure you, we are right on target!
Common MENistries is all about seeking out the men of the church and the community to find a common unity through service, study, and worship of an awesome God! We seek to encourage and study the model of Biblical Manhood, grow our men into that model through discipleship, and stride forth shoulder-to-shoulder as we seek to serve our God by serving our community as Christ has called us! These are exciting times at Alton Baptist and you don’t want to miss this opportunity to see how God can use YOU through this ministry.

Below are some ministries, sponsored by Common MENistries, which you will want to be a part of!
* MEN’s Fraternity: This program is offered on Wednesday nights that will teach our men the principles of Biblical Manhood.
* Discovering God’s Creation II: Seven years ago, Alton Baptist introduced this event to the community as a way to reach out to families in Anderson County and surrounding communities with activities pertaining to the outdoors and hearts for evangelism. Common MENistries reintroduced this event with new and exciting activities as a way to reach families with the Gospel. If you have a special place in your heart for the outdoors, come and help us as we provide a fun-filled day of archery, air-rifle, fishing demonstrations, worship, and much more!
